Your Next User Is a Machine
The most valuable artifact a designer writes this year may not be a screen, but the semantic layer that helps a machine design on their behalf.
I'm Tate, a UX design and research leader based in Salt Lake City. Over nine years I built a UX function at a healthcare staffing and workforce technology company from one hire to a 21-person organization. Lately I've been focused on how UX teams work with AI: training the team, making the design system infrastructure, and defining a new role for the work. I also write about design, AI, and the experiences we haven't built yet.

Building Toward What's Next: UX leadership for the AI era. 17 slides on the foundation, four investments, and where the role goes next.
